Amy is sitting with Todd a bit while I share this newest accomplishment of Todd’s. Todd is now breathing on his own …. ahead of schedule. Clearly all those prayers, candles, flights (for those of you who know how to fly), chanting, love, and energy is most definately going right where it needs to be. We expect tomorrow to be a big day.
Good night to you from Amsterdam.
We miss you all.
Lastly, we want you to know that in our weak moments we gain strength from all your messages. We are reading them and sharing them with Todd. So bring it on!

We all here in Linz are holding our thumbs and sending love and hope. xxx

Holey moley, that’s amazing- and incredible news!! Thanks for sharing! Love and prayers continue, as I fly back to the other side of the pond tomorrow.
We’ve all been thinking about Todd non-stop, while packing the container here on site. Liam just got the news, and expressed his excitement (and hello), and is now on his way back to the boat for the night… and will hopefully have the opportunity to alert Dan, Liisa, and Ulrika. Go Todd, go!
September 26, 2007 at 1:44 pm
Scott and I are thinking of you and send all our love your way.
September 26, 2007 at 1:59 pm
I think a great way to show our support and brighten up the
hospital room would be to make a card or two for Todd, Alex, and the
crew, that have stayed behind to take care of Todd.
I would like to invite you over for a card making session. You
only need to bring yourself, we will have supplies here for the
cards. I will fed-ex the cards the next day.

This is such great news and I hope Todd’s progress continues at the same pace or faster! I’m horrible with words and can only do. And I hope that soon Todd can take over this blog and update us all himself both in words and IRL. In the meantime I hope all your dreams are good with high production value and all…
September 26, 2007 at 2:29 pm
Great news! I had a dream last night that Alex, Todd, Scott & I were camping near a waterfall, it was so beautiful and peaceful and so real. We are sending our love your way (even while sleeping), take care.
September 26, 2007 at 2:45 pm
Wonderful news! Todd’s a fighter, and surrounded by such amazing people, I have no doubt he’ll be back on his feet soon. He is in our thoughts and our dreams 24 hours a day.
Where can we send cards and care packages to you in Amsterdam?
September 26, 2007 at 2:56 pm
Good news indeed! Keep up the ahead of schedule recoveries, Todd. We’re all looking forward to having you well again and back in CA. Let’s all keep hoping that his recovery remains always ahead of schedule and with the best possible results.
Yes, indeed, where can we send care packages?
September 26, 2007 at 3:11 pm
Dear Doter, I am so happy to hear the news! Like your friends says Todd is a fighter and knowing all the love he has around him will help him heal.
We have you both in our hearts and are praying for you both all the time.
Our love Peter and Jimena

that is awesome! Todd is an amazing machine. All his students at CCAC send their love. Tell todd the bridgeport misses him something fierce, and the lathe can hardly bore without him.
September 26, 2007 at 4:09 pm
want to send my support to todd, his family and friends the srl crew.
September 26, 2007 at 4:49 pm
Hang in there, Friend Alex! You’ve got some powerful love beaming your way from so many good people and the full Harvest moon. And, Friend Todd, breathe deeply and look forward to the next Oyster fest – in your honor. As many delicious cold briny sea tasting oysters as you can eat with many delicious glasses of the most refreshing muscadet so cold that your wineglass is beading with condensation: this is today’s mind food inspiration for you. I love you both, new friends!

We love you Todd.
September 26, 2007 at 5:08 pm
That’s great news to hear, so glad there’s progress! Go Todd!
It was a beautiful day in the Bay Area today, if that helps the inspiration. It’s all temperate, sunny, yes, even in San Francisco. Now that it’s officially fall, SF weather can be agreeable. I’m sure Amsterdam’s weather is shit. Just one more reason to get out of that hospital bed and get back here.
We’ll toast to Todd’s improving health tonight! Looking forward to more good news. Take care all!
September 26, 2007 at 5:19 pm
Todd and Amsterdam friends,
We are thinking positively towards a speedy recovery and trying to send strength- and sanity-waves for Todd’s friends and family there.
love from Vale, Marian and all at RE/Search

Oh, this news makes me soooo happy…not that I would expect anything less than miraculous of you, Todd. You and that amazing woman beside you have friends all over the world bombarding you with good thoughts and best wishes for a continued strong and speedy recovery. What an incredible testament to love’s power your progress is. We miss you and Alex fiercely and look forward to your return home!
September 26, 2007 at 6:30 pm
That is indeed amazing news! Todd is such a generous soul and a ingenious builder. I can see him rebuilding himself inside out with determination and accuracy. Keep the healing fires stoked Todd and we’ll be celebrating your return soon enough!
September 26, 2007 at 7:41 pm
This is wonderful news – I know Todd is strong, and it’s clear that all the time you (Alex) are spending with him and sharing all of your love (and his friends and families) is helping him tremendously. We here in Vegas are cheering you all on and are looking forward to hearing more good news in the days to come!
September 26, 2007 at 8:11 pm
Yowza! You two (T&A) are so good at picking up all the ambient vibes around you, and building off the positive. I’m excited to hear about your progress and am hopeful that your good energy will continue to speed the healing. I was thinking, too, about lazy summer days spent in cold rushing rivers, and how those anchoring happy moments give us so much to build from. Keep up the great work!!!
September 26, 2007 at 8:12 pm
Sweet Todd. I saw this poem and it struck me as so appropriate. Remember that you have our love on your side. By sheer force of our prayers, meditations, chakra cleanings, you name it, we will send you our vibes of healing and strength.
Love,
Jill
Tree song
Pruning is over-
now begins the growing.
Call forth energy
from deep roots,
stretch limbs,
feel buds begin to swell,
reach for wind and sun.
As you leaf,
understand that
under your green canopy,
flowers will grow in your shade,
and even in winter,
roots will store food
to feed the burst
of spring.
So in fall, paint your colors boldly,
brilliant reds and golds,
and put your seeds to slumber,
preparing for spring.
In your time of flowering,
or with naked branches,
do not fear the rain,
or the coldest winds,
but stand tall,
look to the horizon,
watch the sun set
and the sun rise.
From your center,
feel each fracture in your bark
find its way to heal.
Remember this:
Leaves know
when they must fall,
and when to bud,
just as the seed knows
when to put forth its first true leaves.

Keep that good news coming! I keep picturing Alex & Todd laughing, happy and healthy! I’m sending my blessings to you in waves like Ocean Beach in winter. Let their healing power wash over and over and over……………..

I’m sitting here with Dan, Liam, Kent, Greg and Ian at the loading site, celebrating Todd’s progress. Given his character, it’s no surprize, but we are taking nothing for granted. Go Todd! Please let him know that loading is going very smoothly,(clearly he is contributing energy to the efforts)and that the Inchworm is working perfectly and now happily ensconced in the container, dreaming of reunion with its favorite operator.
The weather is unexepectedly bright and sunny this morning in Amsterdam, and it looks like we will complete loadout today, no problem. Thank you everyone for the support and love and we send it right back. And thank you Todd for all that you have taught us and the energy and influence that is so tangible even when you are not here physically. Love is all around.
XO – Liisa

All-
I’m sure there must also be some way to donate frequent flier miles. If you can post an email to do this, my 17,000 AA miles are all yours.
September 30, 2007 at 9:17 pm
I hate how vulnerable we are! Todd ~ you get better! Our long distance energy is yours.
